HOMEMADE RANCH DRESSING
I’m curious to try this recipe!
I found it on www.pinterest.com There was no blog attatched to it though so I am posting entire recipe as I do not know of another way to “link” it.
“This whole jar of ranch is only 1.75 grams of fat and 255 calories!”
WHAT YOU NEED:
1 cup dannon oikos plain greek yogurt
1 packet hidden valley ranch mix
1/2 cup 1% milk
HOW TO MAKE:
Whisk together, chill 1 hour before use. Perfect consistency and tastes better than bottled!

Sounds interesting. I am curious about ranch dressing as I see that alot of American kids like having it to dip their vegetables in where Australian parents use hummus dip. I will have to google the base ingredients for the ranch flavour!
Yes! Ranch is very popular to dip veggies in or put over a salad in the US. However, I got introduced to Hummus several years ago and fell in love with it! I want to learn how to make it from scratch. I just got the roasted red pepper hummus from the store today
Ranch can be high in calories and other things im sure. When I saw that DIY ranch recipe I thought hey! It’s worth a shot! I do know that the packet of ranch dressing that you can get is amazing sprinkled over veggies or meat and baked in the oven. I believe the brand of it is Hidden Valley. If you end up trying this out before me feel free to share how it went!
I will do:) We have tried making hummus but it never tastes like the good supermarket ones. I also love using taco seasoning on homemade potato wedges – those packets come in handy for sure!
oh that sounds good! can you tell me how you make those homemade potato wedges, what you bake them at, and how much seasoning you use on them? I’m looking for “sides” that turn out well.
