The Grass Might Be Greener Over There, But That’s Not Your Lawn

If you suffer from envy, like I do,  I highly recommend checking out the article below. It states reasons to look at things differently. If you are a Christian I think you will especially appreciate it. The article comes from a close friend whom I have a great deal of respect for. Plus, who can’t love a title that says “The Grass Might Be Greener Over There, But That’s Not Your Grass” hahah ❤

  1. I absolutely love the title of this post! It brought up some thought provoking questions for me.

It is so true that when we are envious of others we must remember that in all things to be content. I’m sure there is someone out there who wishes they could change places with someone else but wow – they don’t don’t what they are wishing for! Everyone hides something behind closed doors they aren’t proud of! Overcoming that makes us stronger but who else would want to take up the horrific challenges to get there?

Perhaps that’s what we should think of when we pray to be more ‘Christ-like’. Just think of what Jesus endured on this earth to be able to sit at the right hand of God!
