From December 30th 2014-January 2nd 2015 I got the opportunity to finally take four days off of work. So of course, I put my feet up, drank coffee, and had a movie marathon. NOT. hahah! I have been wanting to travel for a while and go see a good friend in Ohio named Sam.
Traveling up there I got to go through several different states. Starting in SC I drove through NC, TN, KY, and OH. It was so much fun!!! I loved TN and all the mountains that were surrounding me. For the FIRST time I:
-Drove through a mountain tunnel (and experienced my radio shutting off in it…creepy!)
– Pulled over to the side of major high ways to take pictures
-took a selfie of me and my dog (Daisy) in front of the mountains in KY
-I turned 27! And was told I am getting old (Thanks Flor lol)
I wanted to share some of the photographs I took along the way with you!!! ❤
Daisy and I wearing matching hoodies (completely un planned!!)
Sam and My cup from Spencers in OH!
I turned 27!
Sam took me to a park and just let me take pictures!!!
That is all for now! I have a lot more to edit ! ❤ Hope everyone had a save New Years and that 2015 is amazing. Oh and my facebook status on Dec 31, 2014 for my New Years resolution was:

My new years resolution is to: Love myself a great deal more. Every year I make resolutions to make myself “better.” This year, I am reversing that. My goal is to not only feel but absolutely know that I am enough. And to believe with all my that one day someone will agree with that.
Tonight my husband and I went to Paige’s 1st birthday party. I babysit for her and thought it was so cute I was invited to her party ❤
Happy 1st Birthday Paige. You have your entire life ahead of you. How amazing that must feel. I hope you travel the world and see so many beautiful things. I hope your heart never gets broken. I hope you always stay close to your sister. And most of all, I hope you LIVE every moment to the fullest. Don’t blink. ❤
Cheers to being 1. And to being OVER 21 and able to drink a glass of wine haha!
There is nothing coole than being able to inflate your party invitations! I’m def not a kid and I could see me doing this for a pool party or something ! check this out on mudpiesandsunshine’s blog below 🙂
Beach Ball Birthday Party Invitation.
Today I bought a pair of amazingly comfortable workout “tights.” They are the kind that go underneath your shorts so as to prevent rubbing/burning of skin. Also, they are warm! I’ve never had a pair before but really feel that I’ve missed out. Running shorts always ride up and do everything they are not supposed to do! The end of those days 🙂 I tend to burn out easily so im takin it easy and just doing ONE lap around my cul-de-sac . I’ve tried to run in the past but it’s just too hard for my knees 😦
My birthday is tomorrow. Ah ! I can’t believe I will be $25. I got some nice gift sets from my husband and his mom. My favorite was an OLAY one that came with a razor, cream, and free magazine subscription. I ordered one to SELF magazine. Almost anything free is nice!! Will be going to a friends New Years Eve part tomorrow to bring in the new year/slash my birthday.
The laptop that I was planning to use for online courses starting in a few days slid off the bed and hit the floor a few nighs ago. Several keys popped off. A definate FML moment. And of course they do not just pop back on. Thankfully, we have a second lap top. Will hopefully get mine fixed soon!
Ok so I know weird combination! However, the two ideas I found today were sprinkle candles and how to make a detox bath. I must share both!
These are pretty self explanatory
WHAT YOU NEED:
Put some sprinkles in a small votive. Fill about half way
Set the candle on top of sprinkles
voila! Great for Birthday Parties!! so inexpensive.

1. Run a hot bath. It opens pores and prepares body for cleansing.
2. Add three pints of hydrogen peroxide (3%). This oxygenates the body and helps purge toxins. It’s also antibacterial and antiviral.
3. Add two ounces of ground ginger, a natural anti-inflammatory that increases blood circulation and helps promote the elimination of toxins through sweat.
4. Soak for about 30 minutes.
5. Drink lots of water; You need to replenish what’s being pulled out of your system.
The Detox Bath tutorial was found on: Beauty Bets blog which can be found here
For all of us that are getting sick right now, this type of bath may be worth a shot!!
