Unfortunately, Mexican is not always very healthy.
I found a recipe though for a healthy version of a bean burrito at SkinnyMs! Check it out below. I will be making these in next few days 🙂
Love how the recipe substitutes the plain Greek yogurt for the sour cream.
For those of us too that have a hard time with sodium, I would highly recommend making brown rice as opposed to Mexican rice .

I found this amazingly yummy looking popcorn recipe on Amy’s food blog: She Wears Many Hats ! Because we all know I am a huge lover of popcorn, this is a must share.
I’ve made these I believe at least 3 times since I found this recipe! It was way before I started this blog though so I wanted to post about them. If you want a healthy little treat you can just grab right out of the fridge consider No Bake Energy Bites. They are really yummy and my husband loves them. I got the recipe from Smashed Peas and Carrots.
So, I have a girls night every week involving wine, snacks, and a sitcom. ALL of us are trying to lose some weight. Last time I grabbed a bag of multigrain tostitos because well…thats where my brain goes when I think snacks! I would like to go a step above this though 🙂 I found a yummy and HEALTHY looking recipe (thank you Brooke) that I will post below !
NOTE: A really good point the author makes is that strawberries are highly perishable. She recommends you make this salad the day you plan to serve it!
